Day 1 — Damage Mechanisms & Inspection Planning
- Common damage mechanisms in Malaysian refinery and gas service
- Inspection types, intervals and CML selection
- Thickness measurement practice and data quality
Day 2 — Evaluation & Calculation
- Corrosion rate, remaining life and next inspection date
- Minimum required thickness and interaction with ASME Section VIII
- Introduction to fitness-for-service screening (API 579 Level 1)
Day 3 — Repair, Alteration & Records
- Repair and alteration rules, weld repair controls, PWHT alternatives
- Re-rating procedure and documentation
- Workshop: build an inspection plan for a participant's vessel
