Day 1 — Processes & Metallurgy

  • SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW and SAW in practice
  • Heat input, HAZ behaviour and hydrogen cracking
  • Consumable control and storage failures

Day 2 — Qualification

  • WPS, PQR and WQT to ASME Section IX
  • Essential vs non-essential variables — audit exercise
  • Common qualification package errors

Day 3 — Defects & NDT

  • Defect catalogue with real macro sections
  • Radiograph interpretation workshop
  • UT, MT, PT capability and limitations

Day 4 — Inspection Practice & Exam Preparation

  • Inspection and test plans, hold and witness points
  • NCR, repair and re-inspection workflow
  • CSWIP 3.1 question drills and mock paper

Practical Work

Practical exercises and case studies

Sessions are built around calculations, data interpretation and technical decisions. Case material is generic or anonymised — no client-confidential project data is used.
